Disclaimer: I’m a Fall/Winter person. Always have been & I can only assume that I always will be. I love Paris in the fall and Rome during Christmastime. Call me crazy, but I so do not enjoy getting sand in places where one should never get sand. Don’t get me wrong, if you force me into a tropical vacation to paradise I’ll pack my speedo & be on merry way but it’s not the first vacation destination on my list.
This brings me to my point: the impending season change from Winter to Spring. Typically, as you now know, I dislike it. I prefer the snowed in days to the happy hours on patios. Fiiiiiine, I suppose I’d go if you forced me but I’d much rather be roasting mallows on an open flame after tailgating. Back to the point: Spring. This is the first time EVER that I have found myself getting jazzed about the upcoming months as made evident by today’s outfit of choice. At first I thought it was because I’d get to implement more vibrant colors into my daily wardrobe but surmised that couldn’t possibly be the case as I love the color black way more than anyone should love anything beside their goldfish, their favorite pair of Loubs, or in my case, Wendell.
So, let’s do this, Spring. I have zero idea what you have in store for me or why the hell I’m so excited for your arrival but I’m hoping it’s something snazzy.
I am the complete opposite! I get so grumpy and irritated with the constant snow/wind/cold and I’m a completely happy person in the spring & summer. Love this mix of prints – office appropriate, but modern at the same time :)

This is why you and I are soul mates! You know my stance on sunshine that comes with summer and the only thing spring has going for it is the pretty flowers.
Although, I did promise the hubs I would really try to wear less black this year so I might just have to borrow any bright colored clothes you find :)

I freaking LOVE that skirt and how you paired it with stripes! I’ve been dying to try the floral/stripes combo but am lacking in the floral department. So cute girl! My new fave outfit of yours. Until tomorrow.. ;)

I LOVE this skirt–the way it’s paired with the stripes is totally perfect. Is it just me, or does Anthro have the prettiest fabrics in their pieces?!
I’m cold just looking at you! Put some pants on!!! ;) You know I can’t stand the cold. I’m sitting here all bundled up and then look at you in a skirt and my teeth chatter :) Rock it girl!
Happy to have found your blog…..you style is one I would surely emulate! Color mixing with polished office wear is always a good thing!!!!
