I thought it was just a trend but it looks like this vest started its own little love fest. There was no way in hell the vest would fly at my office, so I found a similar option that’s worked out quite well. It’s lightweight, nicely tailored, & while I was not the biggest fan of the shoulder pads at first sight, I’ve actually grown to love them.
To say this guy is versatile is an understatement. In the past week that I’ve owned it I’ve worn it to work, blog events, happy hours, family events, girls’ night & even on a date night. This blazer knows no bounds. One of the things I love about this particular blazer is the simplicity of it – no zippers, buttons, or patterned lining. It’s good enough it doesn’t need any other bells + whistles which makes this neutral staple even more versatile. No wondering if you can pair silver jewelry with the gold buttons or whether that chain necklace you love will be too hardcore with the arm zippers. I’m usually not one to go for such a conservative piece but this blazer was a must & has quickly become one of my warm weather favorites! We’ll be talking about a few more next Monday.
