Every season you catch a few looks you’d love to wear into the ground but you can’t figure out how to translate them from the runway into your life. Sound familiar?
Typically, there’s a look from every show I can’t wait to recreate and put my own touches on. But every. single. year. Marissa Webb blows my mind. I’d take every single look straight from the runway and wear it 17 times in a row. Truly, her collection is the only thing I need to survive. Food and water, unnecessary. Around 20 looks from winter and 20 more from summer? I’d be all set. Unfortunately, her magical powers masquerading as garments are a little beyind my price point so I spend a little time hunting down pieces to recreate her looks that fall within my budget.
+ Know what you’re willing to pay to recreate the look
+ Train yourself to gravitate towards pieces that you’ll be able to mix and match within other outfits in the future
+ Color palette beyond your comfort zone? Trade that bright red turtleneck for a color you’re more comfortable in
+ The pieces don’t have to be identical. They DO have to go together to create a cohesive look
