I’m a big fan of Olivia Wilde’s past red carpet looks. My all time favorite was this Marchesa stunner that’s been in the forefront of my mind for the past 3 years. If I ever get married you can bet that I’ll be wearing some variation of that bad boy. Gradient sparkle. Swoon. Olivia’s pretty good at appearing as though she put zero effort into her look all the while looking fiercely chic which us everygirls can all appreciate. Even decently pregs, the woman killed it on the red carpet last Sunday & made me realize I’ve suppressed my positive feelings for turtlenecks for far too long.
While I do love this column dress, it’s a little unrealistic for a person as freakishly clumsy as me. Instead, I opted to recreate this look with separates that are more practical for a semi formal event or a date night out. Dress this look down with chunky statement jewelry or dress it up with more delicate pieces & a stiletto heel.
In other news, two suitcases of shoes & I will be in NYC for the next few days taking on a few new adventures. Make sure you’re following DS on Twitter & Instagram for the inside scoop as I #travelbrilliantly!

Olivia Wilde was one of my red carpet favorites too and my absolute favorite pregnant actress at the Oscars. She looked so effortlessly chic. I love the “real way” outfit, that black skirt is fab!

She’s. So. Good. Pregs or not, that girl’s stylist is killing it.
