Wendell needed to use the facilities in the middle of the night last night, naturally. The only reason I wasn’t wholly irritated is because he woke me up by putting his face on my face. & how could you get irritated with a sweet little face like that on your cheek. Not possible. Before stumbling out my front door, I opened the window to see how heavy of a sweatshirt I’d need to wrap myself in. YOU GUYS. It was fa-reezing & I wore an honest to goodness coat. If you know me, you know how overwhelmed with joy I was. I dug around my hall closet for my faux-fur lined parka & threw that sucker on for the first time in months. I don’t even remember the walk, to be honest – probably because I was sleepwalking but also because I was so elated with the cool cold weather. Finallyyyy. I’m so tired of pitting through my silk tops I could scream. Finally the best weather of the year is here & it’ll be snowing before you know it. So go tailgate your little hearts out before you need those mitten warmers & stock up on these favorite coats of mine before you’re stuck with only your fabulous leather jacket. & don’t hate me for posting about COATS. Most of them are on sale & I’m trying to prepare you for the impending weather. & I’M JUST SO EXCTIED.
I love a good coat! I want a leopard one so badly but I just can’t justify such a trendy purchase.

I do love cooler weather, but I hope snow stays away as long as possible! That leopard version looks so snuggly!
I’m super psyched for coat weather. I dug out my Thom Browne wool blazer today and I was STILL cold on the way to work. Wooohooo for fall!!!
