The holiday version of every kind of event possible is right around the corner & your calendar is slammed ’til February. I’m proud of you for having friends & being fancy but you, me, & your next door neighbor are all exhausted of the same old “formal” hairstyle you’ve been rocking for the past 3 holiday seasons. It’s time to step up your game from voluminous curls – 5th graders have that ‘do down now.
Work a little holiday magic with this super easy side chig & let the compliments fly. They’ll have no idea you skipped your DryBar appointment & crafted this masterpiece all on your own!
[For best results use second day hair + dry shampoo & spray a little texturizer on your roots for that boost]
[I’m partial to the magic of L’Oreal Elnett. I’m also partial to using half the can per updo.]
For a messier look, don’t twist the sections as tightly & loosen pieces around the face by tugging from the pony which will soften the look & create more volume.

You crack me up! For anyone wondering – yes a ton of Elnett was used to create this hairstyle.

This looks so good, and you make it look easy! I don’t do much with my hair besides your average curling/straightening and various ponytails, but I’d be willing to try this!
I do a version of this with a Dutch French braid on the opposite side of the bang twist! So cute!
