I often grow tired of the typical cocktail dress for cocktail occasions; Exhibit A: my beloved pantsuit. Even with the best accessories, I never feel like a cocktail dress is quite enough. With a slew of dresses laid out as options for a holiday soiree this past weekend, the same feeling crept over me as I stared blankly at the one-pieces looking back at me, longing to be worn somewhere fancy.
This would have been the moment to indulge in holiday cocktails but instead I got a manicure that mirrored the color of my soul & just like that I was back in the game.
It wasn’t until after romping around in my closet & at least two Kardashian episodes that I unearthed this tulle gem from the depths. Little baby angels couldn’t have chosen a better time to part the clouds & bring this sucker front & center. It was one of those moments when every piece of the look snapped into place. Fashion magic, I’m telling you.
Absolutely gorgeous – what a fun & festive skirt!
