Top: Forever 21 [similar] | Skirt: Zara [leather pencil skirt] [leather paneled skirt] [quilted leather skirt] | Blazer: Zara [similar] | Bag: Danielle Nicole | Heels: Nine West | “M” Necklace: Gorjana c/o | Agate Pendant: Bishop Boutique [love this gold one]
The first round of this challenge was, surprisingly enough, quite challenging. I love myself a good leopard print for later nighttime occasions but I’ve always been a bit hesitant to flaunt my spots in the daytime & especially at the office. It’s a bold print that’s historically a bit much flare for more conservative areas of life. Until now.
Let your freak flag fly from 9-5 by pairing this jungle print with muted pieces. By muted pieces I quite literally mean pieces that say absolutely nothing else. This print is loud enough on its own. Accessorize with a few gold statements but take it easy with chunky pieces & if you must layer, layer with delicate pieces.
With leopard print as the main focal point, you walk a fine line between sartorial shouting & perfectly pulling off a feminine print. While the former is always a good time, the latter is work-appropriate & it’s what we’re aiming for here. In this case, less is absolutely more.
Check out how my East v. West ladies styled their favorite leopard & stay tuned for more #eastvweststyle challenges over the next few weeks.

Loving it! :) RAWR!
I love how different the coasts are in terms of styling. The East Coast is “hey, we have to go to work!” whereas the West Coast is, “hey, we have to go to party.” Love it!

I’m loving how you styled this for the office — I have a similar top that I’ve been struggling to style and I’m thinking the blazer is definitely the way to go!
Thanks, Liz! With such a loud print on top, a structured piece is almost necessary for 9-5!

you may have found it challenging, but i love how your outfit turned out! the leopard looks amazing paired with the rust colored blazer.
Thank you! As much as I like this leopard top this blazer is a rotating weekly favorite!
