Last month, Potomac Mills challenged me to accessorize a chambray top as part of their month-long Accessorize Your Spring Sale, going on now through May 31st. They sent me this top from LOFT and at first, I thought I’d pair it with a white pencil skirt and a pair of colorful pumps for a casual work look but the more time that passed the more I found myself wearing the blouse with my favorite pair of denim. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be the kind of lady to sport a Canadian tuxedo, let alone suggest it to others. But with the right shades of denim it can be quite the cute little weekend outfit. And super comfy.

Over the past few weeks, it’s been hard to find any kind of fashion inspiration with nearly 20 days of straight rain so this duo was something I reached for at least once during the weekend. No shame.
