Like most people, my 9-5 attire is entirely different than what I wear after-hours & on the weekends. I love creating office appropriate looks every morning but when I get home I can’t get into my comfies fast enough. 9 hours in a pencil skirt? Adios, sir. My 9-5 looks are sometimes conservative & sometimes a little quirky but it’s never really what I’m most comfortable in. When I was younger, I spent my down time in basketball shorts & old swimming shirts – true & fabulous. Nowadays, I spend my down time in what’s most comfortable & what I feel my best in — more often than not, the two go hand in hand. While that sometimes means I’ll be sporting an aggressive basketball short situation, I can usually be found in anything that comes in black with a chic moto edge to it. I’m happiest in black skinnies, an oversized v-neck, a leather jacket & moto boots. As I’ve changed over the years, my style has done the same. It’s evolved from basketball shorts to leather pants & coach wristlets to oversized GiGi NY totes.

Seldom do I find an online shop that carries just the kind of boot & v-neck I crave & when I do it’s most definetly at a higher price point than I can afford. Lucky for me, Aeropostale (yes, that storefront you used to shop in 8th grade for graphic tees) carries a few of my favorites at price points that don’t make me cringe.
