10 THINGS YOU NEED FOR FALL

If you need me this morning I’ll be napping in a bowl of coffee. The last 4 days took. it. out of me. but in the best way possible, of course. It’s always my favorite week of the year until February NYFW which is only a mere 6 months away, you guys. TIME TO START PLANNING. I’ll dish up all the news & details in my recaps that will start tomorrow. In the meantime, know that I made it through with not a single blister, the best eye cream I’ve ever used helped me through some roof mornings, & I’m happy as a clam to be back with this little nug. Until tomorrow’s recap, I’m reminiscing of mornings like this, friends like this, & 18 hour days in these (joking, obv, these hurt so badly I’ll be in Toms for the next 5 days).

Wide leg pants. These are a no brainer. Srsly. You know those mornings you roll out of bed not wanting to change out of your pajamas before work? These. I’m telling you. Sidenote: They take your chic to the next level.

I’ve always gone for coats that are more practical & less fashionable. But this Vince hooded coat is a game changer. No more snowflakes on the back of your neck & say goodbye to that whipping wind that attacks you from the front. The hooded, wrapped goodness is no joke.

Faux fur vest. Because why in the hell not. When the temperature drops, I almost immediately start tossing faux fur vest on all my jackets & coats. It’s an easy way to take the fun up a notch & it’s toasty warm! DS tip: On super chilly days, wear your vest on the inside of your coat.

At long last I’ve found the perfect clutch. Black. Multi-textured. Gold hardware. & it comes with a strap. Stop. You need it now.

Is it a pump? Is it a boot? It doesn’t matter. These SS kicks are the comfiest things in the world. After 18 hours in them I thought I’d want to die. But they did me proud. & they’re 100% worth spending around $80. In fact, I might just snag them in nude for Spring.

I’ve been raving about this tote for awhile & now that it’s the time of year when the rest of the world recognizes it’s appropriate to wear black for every occasion now is the time to snag this bag for under $50.

I’m new to the whole hat thing but after wearing this felt panama hat over the past few days up in NYC, I’m completely on this panama hat for Fall thing. Bad hair day? Just stepped out of the shower? Just having a day? This bad boy is your saving grace. Promise.

Leopard flats have always been a staple in my closet & this season is no different. It’s the perfect neutral for work & play.

While these black boots are a major splurge, I can’t get them off my mind. If someone can find a nearly identical pair for about, oh, a fourth of the price I’d be forever grateful.

A classic trench is always a good idea. No matter the season, a trench is an essential. This one has been on my radar for awhile now.
